Schoolhouse Roxx, first organized in February 2004, produced 22 weekly staged-concert events in their first season of operation. For the 2004-2005 season at PS122, Schoolhouse Roxx events will produce sustained runs across a weekend (with productions occuring approximately once a month). We are always accepting submissions from all kinds of artists, with an emphasis on the fusion of live music and performance. This year we hope to incorporate more visual art into our programming--including massive installation projects and gallery exhibitions to be presented in collaboration with the live performances.
