ABOUT SCHOOLHOUSE ROXX:
SCHOOLHOUSE ROXX Program Director Travis Chamberlain produces original cutting-edge rock n' roll spectacles, inspired by the twisted imaginations of your favorite local bands, performance artists, and visual artists. Each production is a co-presentation by Performance Space 122 and Schoolhouse Roxx. The series is housed at Performance Space 122, located in the East Village at 150 1st Ave. (on the corner of 9th St.).

Schoolhouse Roxx, first organized in February 2004, produced 22 weekly staged-concert events in their first season of operation. For the 2004-2005 season at PS122, Schoolhouse Roxx will produce events with sustained runs across a weekend (with productions occuring approximately once a month). This year we hope to incorporate more visual art into our programming--including massive installation projects and gallery exhibitions to be presented in collaboration with the live performances.
