The Fabulous Entourage has been described as a combination of "art-house punk and sugar-coated pop" by The New York Press. Compared to Devo (by The New York Times) and The Scissor Sisters (by Paper Magazine), they serve up exuberant, irrepressibly glam New Wave rock, infused with lush Motown-inspired vocal arrangements, throbbing dance beats, and equal doses of sunshine and melodrama. They've earned a cult following for their over-the-top live shows, incorporating extravagant costumes and theatrical elements. They've played to sold-out crowds at such venues as Joe's Pub, The Knitting Factory, Bowery Ballroom, The Whitney Biennial, and LA's Viper Room among others. * Their self-produced album Play Nice Now was released in April 2006, mixed by producer Tim O'Heir. The eleven-track disk includes guest performances from members of the bands The Toilet Boys, The Hazzards, and Jesus H. Christ. Paper Magazine calls it "Entrancing!"
